The Defence & International Security Institute (DISI) is an independent non-governmental, non-profit Think Tank established with a difference in having a separate project arm staffed by professionals with experience across multiple sectors who can bring a holistic approach to present day challenges.
DISI is a registered ‘Scientific Organisation’ and as such we acknowledge all the scientific achievements of the passed centuries and the new millennium. We have co-opted a wide spectrum of expertise – leading scientists, captains of industry, policy makers and diplomats, military and law enforcement professionals, field instructors and educators. DISI is established and managed by practitioners for practitioners in a wide spectrum of sectors and disciplines:

DISI is a Project-based organisation. We have moved on from legacy models to be relevant in the 21st century and to make a difference. We are solutions oriented and structured to enable the rapid deployment of specialist expert teams to conduct studies and carry out project assignments in all the areas that fall within the scope of our activities and competences.
We take advantage of the synergistic effect achieved by promoting and enabling communication and interaction with and between our over thirty Expert groups and in so doing our organisation becomes much more than the simple sum of its building blocks.
We are now established and in a position to lend our professionalism and expertise to many demanding and intractable problems facing the world in the third decade of the twenty first century, to optimising technological advantage and to promoting social cohesion and justice for all.
