DISI is a semi-public non-governmental organisation (No. 205028938) registered in the Republic of Bulgaria and as such follows the Non-Profit Legal Entities Act provisions on public benefit and political independence.
DISI guarantees its independence by generating revenue from membership fees, donations, consulting services, research contracts, project activities and events funded by a wide range of sources - national and international, private and governmental.
